While at the VMFA, I was tasked to create an invitation package to celebrate the Collector of the Year, Francis Lewis. I decided to use Warhol's painting of Francis titled Sydney's Harem, and break up the grid of portraits he had created. I then used the various multi-colored portraits throughout the course of the project as a way to carry the visual theme. The project started with a roll-fold invitation mailed to guests, and ended with an accordion-fold invitation that guests would find displayed on their table at the event.
